Brett Caban is responsible for assisting the clients of AEGIS Professional Services during all facets of the litigation process as well as providing counsel on a variety of general corporate matters. His practice consists of a wide range of business-related legal cases, including complex commercial litigation and corporate transactional law. In addition to representing clients in litigation, he provides general business counsel to small and mid-size clients in multiple industries.
Prior to joining AEGIS, Mr. Caban worked as a Solo Practitioner and as an Associate Attorney with the law firms of Klar, Izsak & Stenger, LLC, and Evans & Dixon, LLC, where he managed commercial litigation cases from inception to disposition. Through his roles with these firms, he gained extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial.
Mr. Caban received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He received his law degree, and a Certificate in Health Law, from Saint Louis University School of Law, where he held a Faculty Fellowship, received an Academic Excellence Award, and was awarded the Best Brief Honors in the Moot Court Competition. Mr. Caban is admitted to practice law before all Missouri and Illinois state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Mr. Caban enjoys spending his free time engaged in outdoor activities and traveling with his wife.
